We’ve already proven the science behind GameGear. Now we’re taking the next step.
medically validating its real-world benefits in reducing concussion risk.

GameGear, in collaboration with Connectivity Traumatic Brain Injury Australia, are launching a landmark research trial on the efficacy of the GameGear helmet in reducing the incidence and/or the severity of concussion in adult athletes to validate the following:
- Determine whether the helmet reduces the incidence of concussion in athletes relative to athletes not wearing a helmet
- Determine whether the helmet reduces the severity of symptoms following concussion, relative to athletes not wearing a helmet.
GameGear will work with Australia’s major contact sports to assess its real-world effectiveness. The trial is launch in early 2026, with results expected within two years.

This trial will show whether GameGear can offer real protection without changing how the game is played.
Our aim is simple. Protect athletes, support performance, and help people enjoy the sport they love with confidence.
There are over 100,000 sport related concussions in Australia every year, many of which go undocumented . Concussion rates remain high, and traditional padded headgear has never been proven to reduce the risk.
This trial will provide the first scientific evidence that GameGear helmets can reduce the severity or incidence of concussion. No other headgear product has this level of validation.
It will put GameGear in a category of its own.
